The movie I want to introduce to you is called Lucky.
The film genre is a reverse comedy that premiered on October 13, 2016
and was awarded fifth place in Korean film history.

Hyung-wook, the owner of a huge fortune, and Lee Chang-sun, who has a dream of becoming an actor but is unemployed in reality.

One day, the two happen to run into each other a public bathhouse and from that point their lives are intertwined. As such is the birth of a story with many twists and turns, drama and comedic relief. Throughout the film the suspense kept rising with each twist and turn. I usually trust and watch movies starring Yoo Hae-jin.  Yoo Hae-jin's comic acting and facial expressions in the movie were also excellent.

 I was expecting some brutality and some radical scenes from the movie due to the face that there was a murderer, but it was shown well, and it is not too extreme or graphic. I was not sure of how the focus of the murder showing brutality would impact the story.

The ruthless killer Hyeong-wook (Yoo Ha-jin) accidentally visits the public bathroom after finishing his job and falls down when stepping on a soap and receives a strong blow and loses his past memory.

 Jaesung (Lee Jun), an unknown actor who decided to die for lack of popularity sees Hyung-wook coming to fix belongings. Jaesung runs away with Hyeong-wook's key.

 After that, Hyung-wook tried to succeed as an actor while thinking he was Jaesung. Extra-large opportunity that is once in a lifetime! A super limited investment! This is LUCK.KEY!

 

Review

It was about two hours of running time, but it wasn't boring at all, and I didn't want to miss a single scene.

In particular, Yoo Hae-jin's performance was really good and short, but it was also nice to see the charm of Lee Dong-hwi. I am not a professional movie critic but one thing I can say for sure is that it was very interesting.

If you want to watch Korean comedy with many unexpected twists and turns, I recommend the movie Lucky.
