There are some people who have heard of “A Good Place.” The meaning of a good place is a place or home where many good things will happen to future generations because it follows feng shui theory. In Korea, designing a house and deciding to pay attention to a feng shui theory is very important in the design process. You are probably wondering: "What is feng shui theory?" and "What does it mean?"
The feng shui theory is a theory of division based on topography. In other words, before planning a city, it is necessary to review how to distribute certain structures and organize spaces for fire stations, hospitals, town halls, schools, and parks. These days when the government decides to develop an area, the design process adheres to feng shui theory.

PIMFY and NIMBY
When selecting a location, when deciding where to live, among the many factors, the preferences for the surroundings are considered.
A NIMBY/ PIMFY phenomenon will happen depending on what is built. Before selecting a location, there needs to be objective cooperation to minimize friction between residents. So everything can run smoothly.
The PIMFY phenomenon is short for “Please In My Front Yard” and refers to things that people want to have near their home. These facilities include general hospitals, schools, police stations, town halls, parks, department stores, hotels, etc. The NIMBY phenomenon, on the other hand, is the abbreviated word for “Not In My Backyard”. This refers to the things that residents don’t want near their homes. Such facilities include landfills and incinerators, nuclear waste treatment plants, Morgues and crematoriums, pollution factories and quarry sites.
